A Way Of Praying Our Feeling
It is important to take time each day for reflection. During these periods
try to spend some time praying through the following questions and suggestions:
ACT OF PRAYER
I. How do I feel right now?
2. What is the cause of this feeling?
3. Accept how you feel and accept the reason why you feel this way. N.B.
Do not try to change your feeling, to feel any other way.
4. Forgive yourself for being this way
5. Think of a time in Scripture when Jesus must have felt the same way.
6. Talk to Him about how He was feeling at the time.
7. Look at how He acted when He felt that way.
8. Decide what you are going to do now. What action are you going to take?
Be creative/ True Prayer leads to
CONVERSION AND CHANGE OF HEART
And that leads to:
a. self-acceptance
b. self-confidence
c. self-esteem
