Father John's Farewell Dinner
Father John O'Hara has meant a lot to all of the members of Poverello. It was his guidance that led us into existence as a Franciscan based community. His farewell dinner was a sad as well as joyous event. Sad in that we are loosing our spiritual leader and joyous in that it was a gathering of loving human beings that shared a table and camaraderie. Father John has helped to bring each of us a long way on our journey of living the Jesus Creed. He has an inate ability to express the teachings of Christ and St. Francis and to show us how to apply those teachings to our lives. He will be greatly missed.
